Spring Sprung!

Taking today off was a great idea. After a painfully tormenting day at work on Tuesday it was nice to know that my mid-week was secured and vacant for whatever I wanted. There’s always so much more demand to “do something” with your weekend.

So I arrived far too late to go through a proper street photography/walk and shoot day. The sun is all but gone nearing 5pm in Galway these days, so getting into town at 3:45 means you’ve probably got less than an hour to shoot anything worth showing.

New Year, New Gear

I’m attempting to reformat my ill preconceived ideology regarding quality in images. Even before I picked up a camera, I had developed a kind of tick that told me a quality image had to be tack sharp, edge to edge.

I think I’m losing it. I have nothing else to draw from on these barren hard drives. And the lack of a camera and subject is crushing me like the Terminators exo-skeleton in an industrial press.
